How to Get Big Gelatin Gains
When many people think about building protein for diets, they think about eating lots of meat, including lean chicken and pork as well as beef, as well as about other sources of protein like eggs and cheeses. If they are a vegetarian, they are probably thinking about tofu and nuts and probably also beans.
But one source of protein that many people do not think about is gelatin gains. That's right, the humble component that makes Jell-O jiggle is a source of protein that is comparable even to meats. However, the downside of this is that plain gelatin does not have much texture and does not really taste like anything.
However, as we can see with Jell-O and other flavored gelatins, you can add flavors to gelatin quite easily and then you can barely taste the gelatin itself at all.

Regular Jell-O does not really have that much gelatin per weight, which is what gives it that funny loose jiggle that it has. But you can make treats that are a lot more dense with gelatin, and they will have a harder consistency that can even approach meat if you make your concoction with the right additives. Then you can flavor these bars with any type of flavor that you can find. You can even add fruits and nuts into the mixture if you would like, in order to give it a better flavor and texture.
However, it can be hard to find flavors other than the standard food flavors in most stores. You can also even mix flavored drink powders, like muscle milk powder or other whey protein powders, into the gelatin to give it even more of a protein punch as well as a delicious favor.

Muscle milk gelatin is one of my most favorite protein snacks in the world for sure, because I can take it around with me anywhere in a little pack, and it's really quite cheap to make. It also doesn't involve as much chewing and swallowing as eating meats and vegetable, because it is much more dense in terms of protein. The best way to find out if this will work for you is to find out whether or not you like the taste of it, and whether or not you will get great gains from it, so there is no reason not to try gelatin gains yourself.
